In 2016, vocal coach Anna Kowalczyk and producer Piotr Lewandowski were renting an evening slot in a Praga café just to have somewhere to teach. Word spread faster than they expected. Within a year the waiting list was longer than the lesson book, and BackVocal Academy got its first real studio on Ząbkowska street.
We've grown carefully since then. We'd rather add a coach than cram a room. Every teacher here is a working musician — people who still gig, still record, and still remember what it felt like to be terrified of the first note.
